The Port Phillip Community Foundation will support: First Nations Peoples, their aspirations and desire for self-determination; social innovation and new and existing social enterprises, especially modelling decent work and affordable housing opportunities; young people and their educational, health, employment and other needs; newly arrived migrants and refugees to begin their journey in Australia; environmental initiatives that enhance community participation in reducing carbon pollution, managing water and improving the natural environment and bio-diversity; artists and encouraging community participation in the arts; community media to build a more cohesive, better connected and informed Port Phillip; and social research and policy advocacy to local and other governments and the local community.
